maybe it was because of all the chemicals that were being used but im not sure.
but then again i have very sensitive skinWhy does some acne treatments make my acne worse?
Believe it or not, it is not food or even stress that causes acne, I don't care what anyone else has said. I am 36 and have had it so severe since the age of 19. I tried everything. I finally came across an article in a beauty magazine that explained that some people with chronic, constant acne, who are past their teenage years, can blame the cause of it to minerals in tap water. Calcium, magnesium is found in all tap water, and actually leaves behind a thin invisible film on your skin and actually turns to a waxy substance. A ';chelator'; can neutralize these minerals and there is a skin care line that makes this, the only skincare line. It is called MD Skincare. I use ONLY the Hydra Pure MIst Spray after I wash my face and/or bathe. My skin went from huge pus filled zits that covered my entire face, to flawless skin. If I don't use it, It does come back, but as soon as I remember to use it, the acne goes away and they don't ever form to a full head (I forgot to take it with me on vacation once). It is $32 and I buy it at Ulta. Go to the website and it will explain the science behind this product. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on meds (4 rounds of Accutane and it always returned) My 11 yr old son had started to break out. It has halted it. It does not work as well on blackheads, but on cysts, pustules and papules it prevents. This is a preventive treatment now for me. I hope u head my advice, because nothing else has worked. Here is a list of drugs that I have used that failed:
Accutane, Doxycycline, Clindamycin topical solution, Retin-A, Tazorac, Minocycline, Benzaclin, Erythromycin, Retin-A Micro, Smoothbeam laser at $350 per session, Clearlight therapy $50 per session, Photodynamic therapy w/Levulan at $350 per session, glycolic acid peels, salicylic acid peels, Lactic Acid peels, all at $50 a session, Microdermabrasion.
Also, since I started using this spray, I do have monthly peels that i do myself at home (glycolic) that has really helped get rid of the scars. Because of this my skin is gorgeous. The peels do help, but this spray keeps it at bay. Sorry for the lengthy info. I just don't want people to suffer like I did.Why does some acne treatments make my acne worse?
my advice just keep your face clean like clean it at least 2 times a day without soap just hot water and don't touch your face a lot that makes it worse
i don't kno , everyone's skin is different you just have to use trial and error to see what works.
