ive tried Tetralysal and Retin-A and neither have worked well.

For me, simply doing a good wash of my face about every other night helped. Though the biggest secret to acne is no one cares about it as much as the person that has it. We as a society are too self concious, its nature. Its a much happier life when you stop caring what others think and trying to perfect youreself.revlon

I suffered really bad acne for years.I tried everything on the market including Oxytetracycline and to be Honest they didnt work.Then my doctor prescribed something called Stemecin.It worked miracles.I couldnt believe the results and worked almost straight away.Ask your doctor about this.It will change your life. The combination of a tetracycline and a hydrogen peroxide wash is a good one. My only comment is that oxytetracyline which is very cheap and was used extensively in the past, it not used much now as it has been superseded by better drugs.
Normally Lymecycline is tried first, if this is not successful Minocycline is used, Both are more potent than Oxytetracycline, are only once a day and are easier to take since they have no milk interaction.
you are wasting your money. I have acne but most of is gone. I bet you are dehydrated. Drink half of your weight (lbs) of water in ounces. Avoid sugars, high sugar fruits, pork. Eat more vegetables also. For mean time you can use coconut oil. Yes I know it is oily!

I am currently taking antibiotics to improve my acne, and this has worked really well, but now I am left with multiple scars especially on my forehead. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good treatments for this (non surgical), that dont cost loads!!

Yes, I just had a facial done the other day at the spa and the estheticain told me to get vitamin C oil or some zinc serum and apply it to the scars before going to bed. She gave me a website to order these products although they are kind of pricey. Its www.ecmode.com The esthetician told me to use this for two to three months and see if I notice a difference. The scars will not completely heal, they will just fade dramatically. I have been breaking open a vitamin E capsule and applying it nightly until I can order the products. She said this would work just as well. Also, bio-oil has been recommended as well.

Take a multi-vitamin, vitamin C, and Magnesium.
This is what I do, and my acne scars look better everyday. As long as they aren't deep like holes they usually go away in about six months, but I would imagine if you take steps towards helping them go away that would speed up the process!

Your skin reflects your inner health, and will reward these efforts with a healthy, beautiful glow. However, some degree of trauma to the skin is, alas, unavoidable. The soft, flawless skin of a baby does not stay that way, and sooner or later we all pick up various scars and blemishes.
While some of these may be sizable and significant such as the scars that can result from a cut or injury requiring sutures, smaller scars such as acne scars can be dealt will effectively and in most cases eradicated using simple home remedies.
To a large degree, this is folk wisdom: not necessarily the sort of thing your family doctor would be able to tell you about, but tried and true remedies such as your grandmother might have used.
Olive Oil
Rubbing 100% pure virgin olive oil into a scar 2 or 3 times a day can minimize or even eliminate it, even if the scar is quite large. This works best on 鈥榝resh鈥?or new scars, but is worth a try even if the scar is older.
Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E is the 鈥榮kin vitamin鈥? and vitamin E oil is probably the best known and most tested scar remedy. You can buy vitamin E oil capsules at any drug store; the cheap kind is fine, and it doesn鈥檛 seem to make a difference whether the oil is from natural or artificial sources.
Break open a capsule and rub it into the scar, once or twice a day. (And while you鈥檙e at it, swallow a capsule each day as well, along with some vitamin C 鈥?both very good for the skin). The vitamin E treatment is virtually guaranteed to work for most scars. Don鈥檛 bother with creams or lotions that contain vitamin E, however 鈥?using pure vitamin E oil is cheaper and more effective.

Some consider this to be the most effective remedy for small scars and skin discoloration. Lemon juice naturally and gently bleaches the skin, and this makes it effective for certain types of scars that are essentially darkened or discolored spots.
It will not totally get rid of raised scars or indentations in the skin, but it can improve their appearance. You can squeeze some lemon juice onto your finger or a cotton ball and apply it directly to the scar.

The cost is $2588 for 11 treatment together with some product.
I kinda felt it was overcharged and told him that he shld just quit it once his ance is gone.
So after the how many treatment will the scar be gone?

I have very oil-y and acne prone skin. I use an Olay Foaming Facial Cleanser and the Clean %26amp; Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. I'm looking for a Spot Treatment to use, that's under $9.
