Acne/pimple treatment?

I'm 15 and I have a mild case of acne and pimples,it's not that bad but i'd rather have a clear face.I've tried Proactiv but after months of using it and seeing no result i stopped using it and my acne got worse...i would like to know of any good treatments that i can buy for my acne.....stuff that i can get in Walmart and places like that.Acne/pimple treatment?
Try using a mild soap and warm water to wash your face twice a day, then follow up with a toner to get the excess soap off your skin. Also are you watching what you eat? Some types of foods can make us break out more, like if you are eating a lot of fast food, try switching to eat more fruits and vegetables. Also, drink lots of water to flush your system of any inpurities, atleast 8 glasses a day, it will certainly improve your skin. Models use this technique to keep clear skin and healthy nails. I hope you see results real soon and good luck to you.Acne/pimple treatment?
First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.
Proactive really only helps kill bacteria that gets stuck on your face like under makeup, which is why it doesn't help everyone, particularly people who don't wear makeup. I have used many products and haven't found any thing that works perfectly. However, I suggest trying Nature's Cure. It's about $10 for a month's worth and it comes with a tasteless homeopathic pill to chew up and swallow and a 5% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment cream, which is a pretty high strength and works great. They come in male and female formulas that are more suited for your body.

Never wash your face with anything containing alcohol, that can over dry your face and cause it to produce more oils than before. And you shouldn't wash your face more than twice a day because you will over dry it and irritate it causing possibly more acne. The natural oils on your face are good for your skin, don't wash them off too often.

Good luck.
did you already seek a specialist? if you already tried Proactiv and he didn't give result, be certified with a professional in the area, he will help you!

MIX BAKING SODA AND WATER A WASH YOUR FACE WITH IT EVERYDAY IT'LL REALLY WORK!!!

Try to use orange peel : apply it on affected areas.

Apply lemon juice on affected areas

Use fenugreek plant

You should wash your face 2 times every day which should help get cleaner pores. Proactiv, I've heard is not that good. I think. Here are some reviews for lots of acne creams and treatments:

Once your acne does go away, keep washing your face and using face cream that helps keep pores clean because then it won't come back.
You should go for acnezine. It works faster than any other kind.

Its affordable and easily available every where.

Hi there!

If benzoyl peroxide does not work for u, you may wish to try topical retinoids such as tretinoin. It has been proven to be effective in most cases. This is because retinoids are synthetic derivatives of vitamin A. Their primary action is to clear microcomedones, whiteheads and blackheads.

Tretinoin is available in cream, gel and liquid form. Gels are the most drying, and creams the least. It is advisable to start application sparingly, once a night at the lowest concentration, 20-30 minutes after washing the face. The skin commonly becomes a little red and peels when treatment is first started. It will adapt to the irritation and begins to improve after a few weeks.

In addition, limiting exposure to sunlight and using sunscreen are recommended, as some patients may developed sensitivity to sunlight while on treatment.
