Can anyone recommend the best treatment for acne?

PRO ACTIV!!!!

it works sooooooooo wellCan anyone recommend the best treatment for acne?
I really did struggle for years with TERRRRRRIBLE acne. Not just a ppop up here or there, but an all over the face nightmare. I tried all of the commercial acne treatments, I tried Proactive, and I tried prescription drugs. Once I found acnefree, my face cleared up completely within a month. After having acne for 7 years, it was definetely an amazing feeling.

I can't telll you what to use, because everyone' skin reacts different towards different things. But if you haven't already, try acnefree and you might have the same results that I did.Can anyone recommend the best treatment for acne?
The best treatment for acne is not to pop the zits/pimples

If you pop them it will make it worse.

Drink lots and lots of water and milk twice a day.

Wash your face twice with soap with cold water I recommend Dove soap bar.

dont eat spicy things and eat a lot of fruits and veggies.

Sugar, Candy, oily and too much salt can cause acne so eat these types of foods in a certain amount. Stay away from fast food- if you want to eat it. Eat it every 2 months only once.

DONT GET FOOLED BY COMPANIES WHO TRY TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS : PROACTIVE, CLEAN AND CLEAR CLEARASIL

Dont stress out. Stressing out causes more pimples.

Dont loose your temper you WILL breakout alot.

Determination, confidence and self control

Good Luck
No treatment will completely 'cure' your acne. The aims of treatment are to prevent new spots forming, to improve those already present, and to prevent scarring.

1. It is important to keep spot-prone areas clean, so wash the affected area twice a day with an unperfumed cleanser. The skin needs a certain amount of oil to maintain its natural condition, so avoid aggressive washing with strong soaps.

2. There are a number of over-the-counter remedies available from pharmacies to treat mild acne. These usually contain antibacterial agents such as benzoyl peroxide (eg Oxy and Clearasil Max).

3. As well as its antibacterial effects, benzoyl peroxide can dry out the skin and encourage it to shed the surface layer of dead skin. Together, these effects make it harder for pores to become blocked and for infection to develop.

4. Benzoyl peroxide can cause redness and peeling, especially to start with. This tends to settle down if you reduce the number of times you use it. You can then build up your use gradually.

No home treatments for acne will work immediately. It can take weeks, if not months, for significant effects to be noticeable. If home treatments have not worked after two months, or you have severe acne, you should visit your GP.
wash several times a day, dont eat greasy foods and fatty ones like chocolate, and get a good spot clearer like clearisal (probably spelt very wrong)
Ok im going to sound freakin nuts but i used to have the worst acne and oily skin ever, and you my use some really expencive stuff and your face will stay clear as long as you use it, i dont care what any one thinks how acne treatment caompanies get people to buy sooooooo much of there stuff every year is because they ALL have something in them that makes your face break out if you stop, notice this b-4???? and you gotta think all that stuff you tried must be really hard on your skin right? well so what i decide to do was stop useing every thing on my face and started useing this really good and cheep babby wash called Baby Magic with the cute little cow on front, its only 2 or 3 $, And about 2 days later i noticed my skin begain clearing up!!!!! HOLALOU YA!!!!!! it took a few days for all the other stuff to get all out of my skin and for the soap to cleans it, it may sound like a bunch of crap but i swear it helped me and just to prove it, i decided to use clearisel for the first time in like a month and my face had exacly 5 nasty zits the nexy day that i didnt use it, i was like omg! so now im clear free of zits and pimples, and i have tryed every thing!!! proactive, NOPE, clearisel, NOPE,and all the other stuff, NOPE!!!!!!!!!! AND THE GREAT THING IS IF YOU MISS A FEW NIGHTS OF WASHING, YOU STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? I know your like what ever but if you want clear skin just use the soap i told you or any other kind of regular soap, dont use bar soap though it will dry your face out (yep tried that 2!!) no matter what brand, i havent tryed any outher liquide soaps besides Baby Majic so i dont know, but give it a chance and give it a few days to kick in, dont miss any nights the first few weeks, I LOVE IT MY FACE IS CLEAR AND LOOKS GOOD!!!!!!! AND ITS CHEAP YAYUH!!!! GOOD LUCK!!! I KNOW IT WILL WORK IT SOUNDS CRAZY BUT IT WILL WORK!!!
cumm f*ck proactive
Your Doctor can refer you to the hospital and only they give out Roaccutane pills. This is the only prescribed medication that works. Its best to treat the spots before they get worse. Otherwise you will be treating scars later on.

ACNE BLEMISHES

Apply a solution of apple cider vinegar and water (2 tablespoons to 1 eight ounce glass of water) with a cotton ball several times a day. This will help reduce infection and dry out inflammation.

Another natural healing home remedy calls for the daily application of apple cider vinegar which has been infused with horseradish. Prepare the solution by adding two cups of ACV to one pound of grated horseradish. Let it sit for two weeks, then strain.
it's really hard struggling with acne but some things you should try are proactive, acnefree and eva's esthetics (not sold in drugstores but a beutician might have it. drink lots of water, don't stress, eat lots of fruit and veggies, when washing your hair dont let shampoo and conditioner run in your face, dont pop pimples dab some achohol on them and theyll dry by themselves, wash your face as often as you can and dont touch it otherwise. only use perscription if you have a dance or something because they make your skin really dry. visit a dermatologist to see what they recommend and treat youselve to a facial at the salon about once a week
Believe it or not just drink water, acne is just like black heads blocked up pores except acne produces puss spots drink plenty of water everyday with regular bathing and they'll be gone in no time
I use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub. It worked great after a couple weeks of use, and I have had minimal acne ever since using it. I have been using it for years, and it is CHEAP. You can get it at Walmart in the cosmetics aisle and you get a little jar of it for like $4. Use it every day.
Go to a dermatologist first. They can decipher what you may need. They can prescribe Retin A Micro, really works well.
all i can say is visit a dermatologist. i struggled with it for years so and my mom finally made me an appointment. he looked it over and prescribed me with aveeno ultra calming cleansing face wash to use for when i wake up, after sports, stuff like that (can be bought at local HEB), then a prescription face wash to use when i take a shower once daily, 1 pill every 12 hrs., a cream to apply after my shower/before bed and an aveeno lotion because the prescription face washes can really dry out your skin sometimes. it may sound like alot but after about 4-6 wks. my face is flawless!!!

good luck!

acne free it is better than pro-active!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few weeks ago, i had very, very bad spots...but then i discovered FREEDERM GEL and now I am acne free,it's ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.. it's about 8 pounds for a tube, but it is worth it...you can have it in GEL,LOTION,CLEANSER or WASH. For more information go on www.freederm.co.uk and they will send you a free sample. xxx
Well my doctor said just washing your face with soap and water would work the best. But I think proactiv would work because my doctor also said that proactiv works slower so you won't breakout even more in the process of heeling your acne. Most fast working acne medicines usually make your acne worse before it gets better.
