What causes acne and pimples and the possible treatment?

oil which comes out of the skin if gets blocked then it turns into acne and pimples. take triphala tablets to remove toxine from the body. use pack of ambahalad and manjista mixed with aloevera gel. What causes acne and pimples and the possible treatment?
Eating too much sugar and white carbs causes acne on me even though people say diet is not related to acne. Hormone fluctuations are a big cause for sure. I was breaking out a lot until I found this website and followed all the advice:

http://www.acne.org/

What specifically works for me is to keep my face really clean and don't wear foundation makeup;

1. Use a Salicylic Acid wash like Clear and Clean daily.

2. Follow with a Stri-dex pad to exfoliate gently.

3. Use a full finger of benezoyl peroxide 5.0% cream (Clearasil) all over the face and neck to prevent acne (don't just use it on your pimple -- really put it all over) THIS IS THE KEY STEP.

4. Use a moisturizer with alpha hydroxy acid like Neutrogena Healthy Skin with AHA .

Don't touch your face too much or be rough on your skin. Also, it's critical to drink a lot of water and eat those raw vegetables.

This regimen does take about 15 minutes twice a day, but it doesn't cost a lot of money and it's really made a big difference in my skin.

If you have a lot of acne scaring, you can try Stri Vectin SD, but that is expensive ($30.00 +) and I'm not really sure if it made a difference in my face. What causes acne and pimples and the possible treatment?
cause can be from hormones, change in climate or stress, pores open with more oils trapping dirt particles, also from sleeping to much on soiled pillow slips and hands touching face to often. read tips on treating acne and more on skincare on this site

If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is: http://www.acne-treatment-medicine-1.inf鈥?/a>
this is the best treatment for it

I agree with Evelyn it is not always your fault. There is alot of pollution out in the air and that contributes greatly to the effect it will have on your skin. It is very important though that you wash your face everynight and try using some skin toner that will take away any dirt left behind. But if u already have major breakouts I would suggest you go to your doctor and ask for a prescription of Differin this seems to work pretty good. Good Luck

Genes, hormones and a dirty face. Just use cleanser everyday and if it persists, see a dermatologist for a prescription medicine.
I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Firstly its not your fault if you get acne--contrary to popular belief acne is not caused by diet or anything like that. If its really bad you can go see a dermatologist and get a prescription treatment. I take soloden which is a pill you can ask for--Cleared up my face in a week and keeps it clear!!Hope it helps!!--GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
