What is a good acne spot treatment?

i used to use proactiv but it totally ****** up my skin.. but i sort of DO want to try their acne spot treatment. does anyone know if its any good?


and ive also heard that tea tree oil is good too. ive been thinking of trying the one at the body shop :S


currently i use an acne medication called steivamycin (sp?) which the doctor gave me. it is sort of useful, but the bad thing is that it burns the skin and creates a new layer to it. it is semi-painful and it does not really work when i put it on my pimples at night before bed.


so can anyone help me? :S im looking for a spot treatment that reduces redness size pain and everything right away.
