What are the best skin treatments for acne scarring and large pores?

Accutane is really good for both, but I wouldn't take it unless you don't mind being suicidal. What are the best skin treatments for acne scarring and large pores?
PROACTIVE DUH!!!!!!!What are the best skin treatments for acne scarring and large pores?
If the acne is gone, and just scars are left, then microdermabrasion is perfect for that and large pores. The at home options are gentle enough (and a lot less expensive) too use once a week. It tightens pores and visually shrinks them, and removes the top layer of dead skin, helping you to get down to the new, healthy, unscared skin underneath. The BEST one I've ever tried is from BeautiControl. You can get it at www.beautipage.com/

so far pro active is the best. I use it and works great. Go get a 30 day trial and try it for yourself. It will either work or not. But in most cases it works so why not try it.
mix honey with olive oil and live it on your face for about 20 minutes and yuo see the diference right away.
Actually you can clear all that up in about six to eight weeks permenantly using aloe vera gel from a fresh plant. Just cut a piece of about two inches long from a large plant. Wash your face thoroughly with a soap like ivory (the white bar) and pat your face dry. Then smear the aloe vera gel from the leaf all over your face. It will not harm your eyes either. Let it set. Do this in the morning and in the evening before bed. You will be amazed at the results. And if you alter your diet to inclued more vegetables and fruits and less meat, it will clear everything up faster. Aloe Vera is what is used on burn patients to clear up scarring from severe burns.
The only substance that penatrates the pores is beta-hydroxy acid ... aka salicylic acid. It is available in many forms of cleansers, toners, moisturizers, etc. The size of your pores cannot be changed, but if you clean deep inside, they will appear smaller. Microdermabrasion and alpha-hydroxy acids (like glycolic acid) are great for the skin surface and will slough off dead skin cells but will not penetrate the pores.
